I was beyond excited this week because it randomly got “warm”! By warm, I mean the mid 50s, which might not sound too exciting, but when you’ve been dealing with single digit temperatures, it’s a blessing. It’s like Mother Nature was reading my blog posts, and wanted me to stop complaining. The weather had me so excited, that I wanted to throw on an outfit that was wintery, but could still be worn on a mild day.
I mixed textures by pairing a lace top with a soft pink ruffled skirt. I got both of these pieces about three years ago, so I’m excited they’re still current. Of course, I had to throw on my favorite accessories as of late: J.Crew necklace, bracelet, and ring. (Yes, I’m obsessed with J.Crew if you haven’t noticed).
If you’re a girl, you probably have an item that you collect, obsess over, and just can’t get enough of. For many girls, this item is shoes. For me, it’s jewelry (although I do have a lot of shoes). I have so much jewelry, I don’t know what to do with it. Although I’m a hoarder when it comes to jewelry, I always seem to become obsessed with a few pieces and wear them like a uniform.
Side note: If you’ve read this post, you’ll know that my favorite suede heels bit the dust on New Year’s Eve. I’ve been meaning to get them cleaned or shop for a new pair, but keep forgetting. Despite my vast amount of shoes, these are the only ones that looked cute with this outfit. Luckily, I managed to hide just how sad they look.
