Black + Blue

winter outfits ideas

This J.Crew peacoat was seriously underutilized this winter. It’s not that I don’t love it, but my J.Crew cocoon coat was my go-to anytime it was cold. In honor of winter coming to an end (finally!), I decided to take this cobalt beauty out for one last spin of the season.

J.Crew Blue Peacoat

Is anyone else a huge fan of mixing black and blue? I know it sounds a bit iffy, but I swear it’s a combination that works! My personal preference is to go with a vivid cobalt for the blue. It really pops against anything black.

Another item I barely wore this winter? My Steve Madden over-the-knee boots. Again, I absolutely love them, but I become a huge creature of habit when it’s cold out which means cute makes way for warmth and comfort. As an ode to my last outfit post for this winter season, I thought it was only appropriate to take the OTK boots for a spin.

J.Crew Coat

The weather has been incredible lately, and while we’re getting into my favorite season of the year, I’ve been struggling with what to wear. This happens to me every time the season’s change. It’s still a little chilly, but then the sun comes out later in the day and it’s warm. Plus, nobody else is really dressing for spring yet, so you’re just in a total fashion tug of war.
