When a piece of clothing has not just one but many of the colors I love in it, you better believe I’m going to want it. My summer wardrobe consists mostly of colorful pieces, and I absolutely love looking at my closet this time of year.
I don’t always gravitate toward the midi length of dresses, but something caught my eye about this floral print midi dress from Talbots. The colors are so rich and vibrant and the silky material added an elegant touch that I loved. This dress would be perfect if you’re a guest at a summer wedding or any summertime event for that matter.
We had a pretty laid back Memorial Day Weekend, which was nice and much needed! Joe painted all of the shoe moldings in our condo, and I tried to get caught up on some work odds and ends. All of our friends were tied up the whole weekend, so it was just the two of us which was good since Joe has been traveling a ton for work lately. On Friday night we had dinner at Nada, one of our favorite Cincinnati restaurants. I feel like we did something else too on this night but my brain isn’t working right now! Saturday we checked out Taste of Cincinnati (for about five minutes) before we headed to Knockback Nat’s to watch the Champions Leauge game between Liverpool and Real Madrid. That night I made us a pizza from scratch and we hung out at the condo. Side note: I am obsessed with homemade pizza ever since I got a pizza stone.
On Sunday we had dinner at Primavista and on Monday I had to shoot some content for a blog campaign downtown while Joe had a run. We met up afterward and got lunch from a deli at The Banks and ate it at Smale Park (under a tree for some much-needed shade!). There were a ton of people out enjoying the day and it was perfect!
