Radiating Red

Last week, I got to attend the grand opening of Incline Public House in the Incline District of Cincinnati. My dad has been developing the area, which offers some of the best views of downtown and the Ohio River, for quite some time. It was so exciting to see all of his hard work pay off in the form of an amazing bar and restaurant! If you’re from Cincinnati, or are ever in town, you won’t regret checking this place out! At the opening party, it started snowing a ton, which was pretty cool to watch considering you’re surrounded by windows that overlook the entire city. At one point, you couldn’t even see the city because it was snowing so hard!

I wanted to get dressed up, but not too dressy. I wore a dressier red Forever 21 dress and paired it with my more casual brown booties. You’ll probably be seeing my booties in a lot of upcoming posts, because I am obsessed! They’re the perfect shoe medium for me. I’m kind of over wearing boots, but it’s also too cold to wear flats or heels without risking frostbite. These booties are just right, giving me warmth and style.

Also, please ignore my hair. I started taking these pictures outside during a crazy snowstorm, but it just wasn’t working, and I was left with damp, knotty hair. The fireplace is more tempting, anyway!

I love your whole look! I think every woman needs a Little Red Dress like this to dress up or down. When I lived in the city ankle boots like yours were my go to basics since knee boots were too warm and pumps too cold. I’m still obssessed with them but have more knee boots since moving to a small town and being more exposed to the weather.

Thank you!! I agree that everyone should have a red dress. I think it’s a great color that looks good on everyone! I can relate to having to wear knee boots because of the weather. It’s been freezing in Cincinnati, and all I want to do is slip on my UGGs!
