I wore this outfit about a month ago for a meeting with Amy Scalia, the founder of Cincy Chic (yes, I have been SO busy that I haven’t had time to take outfit pictures from a month back). Cincy Chic is the only online women’s lifestyle publication in Cincinnati, and offers everything a Cincinnati woman, or any woman in general, would be interested in reading about. I wanted to meet with Amy because I have always admired what she has done with growing Cincy Chic into what it is today, and thought she would be a great person to get advice from. After getting to know each other over coffee, she asked me to be the publication’s newest Fashion Columnist! The timing of our meeting could not have been more perfect, as the previous columnist was no longer available to contribute anymore. It was an honor to be asked to take on this role, especially because I have been a reader since I was in high school!
Check out my column here.
I wanted to look professional and polished, but still stylish. A little gingham always solves this predicament! The fact that the gingham in this case is neon makes it perfect for summer. I added some gold jewelry for a little sparkle, without going too overboard. To complete my look, I wore my favorite shade of pink nail polish, Essie ‘Mod Square’, and my go-to lipgloss, Butter London Lippy in ‘Fiddlesticks’.
