Two of my favorite things to wear in the fall are leather and leopard, so I figured it only made sense to pair the two together. I wore this last weekend to a dinner at Sotto with my friends. For all you Cincinnatians who have yet to dine here, I highly recommend it! I loved the dark basement atmosphere, and the fact that the room was lit up by long white candlesticks. Definitely perfect for a night out with friends or a date! We had a late dinner, so I took my time getting ready. I love not being rushed, and actually having time to straighten my hair and plan out my outfit without stressing out. I think I took my time a little too much though, because I had forgotten to eat a snack during the three hours I spent trying on multiple outfits. I finished an entire plate of pasta in under five minutes at dinner, and could have easily eaten a few more plates. Meanwhile, my friends all took their time eating like normal people. Luckily the lighting was dark, because I’m pretty sure people would have been judging me.
As much as I love fall fashion, I don’t think I’m ready for fall weather. The night started out warm and nice, but walking to a nearby bar after dinner caused some not-so-subtle goosebumps over my entire body. I tend to get lazy the colder it gets, and that translates into my outfit choices. Heels become nonexistent, and my zip-up Patagonia instantly takes priority over a cute top. My goal this fall/winter is to try to keep it cute and warm!

beautiful outfit, the pieces go so well together!
Thank you, Iva!
So cute! Love the ruffles on the top – they compliment the flare of the skirt so well!
Thank you!
I have a leopard & leather outfit lined up as well! (Part of my 30-day wardrobe challenge) You styled it so well! XoXo
Thank you! Can’t wait to see yours!
I think I lined it up for next week, but I’ll be sure to send you a message when I get the post up on it! Xx

Thank you! It’s one of my favorites for fall!
Love your skirt!! I don’t blame you about getting a bit lazy with outfit choices during winter – it’s super difficult to stay cute when you just want to don two sweaters, two coats, gloves and a hat to stay warm! Here’s to a warm(er) winter for us!
Thanks, Grace! I’m glad I’m not alone. Hopefully it’ll be a little warmer this year!
Cute top 🙂
Thank you!
It goes without saying that you look amazing as always Olivia! Leather and leopard have to be the two most amazing fall staples and you totally nailed it with this outfit!
Ps. Thanks as always for the sweet comments on my blog <3

Thank you, Quin! I’m really hoping to make myself suck it up and bear with the cold. It’s been getting into the 50s at night here, and it feels like winter! I don’t think that’s a good sign!
I’m originally from Ohio so I know how bad it can be. Hang in there!
Haha thank you!
Such a classic pairing, and love the flare of this skirt… and Ha! That’s always my problem too! How to keep it cute without freezing? It’s almost impossible, but I think I’ll be taking that challenge with you this winter/fall!
Thank you! I know, it’s so hard that I just end up giving up because I’m so cold. I started my search today for cute coats and other warm clothes!
Great outfit!! 🙂 xx
Thank you!
