I have been all about comfort the past few weeks, as evidenced in the amount of times I wear these black pants. They’re stretchy, but they’re not leggings, making them perfectly acceptable for work and going out on the weekends (both of which these are worn frequently). I love getting dressed up. As I mentioned in my ShopStyle post earlier this week, my style can easily be summed up in the dress section of my closet. If I could wear those every day, I would! It’s at the point in the year, however, where there are a million things going on in addition to getting ready for the holidays.
I think I go through this phase every year of “lazy dressing”. Maybe it’s not so much lazy as it is easy. If I find a routine that works and is simple, I stick to it. Right now, that routine is black comfy (but publicly acceptable) pants, a fun sweater, and Tory Burch flats or booties. Not overly stylish, but it gets me through the work week!
PS- I have some exciting news for all you online shoppers! StyleSpotter, an iPad app that allows you to find all your fashion needs at the lowest possible prices, is officially available for download today! I was invited to test out the app before the launch, and really enjoyed playing around with it. I like easy, especially when it comes to technology. I loved how stress-free it was to find my favorite products and save them to my favorites. I think we’re spoiled with how simple online shopping is becoming!

Your polka dot sweater is too cute! I love the pops of color you’ve added to the outfit and I love certain pieces in my closet too. If the fit is right, why not wear them often, right? You look great!
Thanks Grace! I feel like my workweek outfits haven’t been too exciting lately, but I’m blaming it on the time of year! This is just fool-proof and quick, so I gravitate toward it.
Very cute sweater and I love it paired with the red scarf! xoxo
Thank you! 🙂
Love your sweater, your hair is also simply gorgeous!
xx
Thank you!! I’m so glad I got it cut. I feel like a new person!
You certainly don’t LOOK lazy- you look super polished! So it’s the best of both worlds- you’re cozy + comfy, and super on trend. 🙂

Aw thanks girlfriend!
Easy shopping or dangerous… haha. This definitely is not lazy, I love the sweater and the scarf dresses it up a bit!
xx Cara
Thanks Cara! Sometimes I just have those days where simple is the best route.
Cute sweater! Yes, internet shopping is the best… we have an Amazon Prime membership and it’s almost embarrassing how much we order from them. 😛 Hope you’re having a great week!
Thank you Stephanie! Amazon is the best, so I totally understand why you love shopping there!
Black stretchy-pants are my go-to when it’s cold outside! I loooove them combined with the polka-dot sweaterand bright accessories. So cute!
Same here! It’s seriously all I wear when it’s below 40. Thanks Christy!
Do you curl you hair with a curling wand? I think we have similar hair textures and I love how you create those loose waves!
Yes I do! I’ll have to check what kind when I get home, but I’m pretty sure it’s a Remington (from Target). I LOVE using a wand because it makes the best curls. I used to use my straightener as a curling iron, but the wand is a lot easier and I prefer these curls. Hope that helps!
I went out and bought one at Ulta this weekend and I am obsessed. So much easier than a normal curling iron. It helps control my wild mane!! Thanks for the follow 🙂
That’s so exciting!! When I bought mine a few months ago, it was seriously life changing! I’ve always wanted curls like that, and the wand was like magical. So glad you found one you love. Can’t wait to see you rock your curls!
