I don’t know about you, but I’ve always had the hardest time finding the perfect vest. I wanted a faux fur one, but I’ve never come across the perfect vest that I just had to have. It got to the point last fall where I wanted one so bad, I settled on a cream colored one from H&M. I have a few pieces from H&M, but always have the hardest time with the way their clothes fit. Their sizing is borderline depressing, and I always have to size up. I think I had to go up around six sizes to comfortably get my arms through the holes without losing circulation. Bizarre.
I was giving up hope, when Piperlime saved the day. This C.Luce option was at the top of my Christmas list for multiple reasons: 1. the price was $74 (it’s now on sale!), 2. it was faux lambs wool, and 3. it had a vegan leather trim. Sold, sold and sold! I thought it couldn’t get much better, but when I opened it up on Christmas morning, I quickly discovered it was the softest thing I have ever touched. I now realize that I prefer the look and feel of a lambs wool vest over the more traditional faux fur options. Plus, this one is extremely versatile. I can wear it with my leather pants (which will be happening far too frequently), or dressed down with some jeans and boots.
It’s supposed to hit 50 this weekend, which I’m banking on being true. I think some of my fingers are permanently frostbitten from the polar vortex this week.
