Hats Off

Sickness has hit me like a ton of bricks this week, and I’ve been laying low when I’m not working. By laying low I mean laying in my bed with a heating pad on my stomach and a breathe right strip on my nose, wishing I could hire someone to feed me soup at all times. You know you’re out of college when you want to use a funnel for soup instead of beer. I’m supposed to be heading to my real estate awards banquet in Canton Thursday morning, so I’m praying I’ll be better by then. During the few days I’ve been sick, I noticed that it feels like winter. Maybe it’s part of the illness, but I’ve been getting pretty chilly when I’ve stepped outside this week. It’s just an unfriendly reminder that this is what we’re going to be dealing with the next six months. As much as I don’t like the cold, I do love the things that keep me warm in the cold.

I wasn’t a hat girl until last year. I just didn’t think they looked good on me, and I never thought twice about them. It was actually Anthropologie that changed my heart about hats, and I’ve been hooked ever since! You can imagine my happiness when I checked out their selection for fall, and wanted every single one. Seriously, Anthropologie knows hats. The tangerine one will be in my closet! I used to accessorize with just jewelry and scarves in the cold, but hats can completely spice up a cold, simple outfit. Plus, for a baby like me, they keep me nice and warm.

Anthropologie knows everything!! Ok my absolute favorite is the plaid one. Wow! And I do hope you feel better. My husband came down with a nasty cold and it is awful! Wishing you lots of wellness and hope you’re better today!
