Well my Monday morning pep talk proved to be a bust. I went to bed Sunday night ready to dominate the work week, but didn’t end up falling asleep until about 3:30 in the morning. Fail. I laid in bed for hours with my lingering back pains. I swear I have the body problems of someone three times my age. I’m pretty much a zombie as I type this, but hopefully the rest of the week will be more energized! Icy Hot pads have become my best friend these past few months. I swear those things are magical the way they numb the pain and help me sleep. I’d wear them all day, every day if that menthol smell wasn’t so strong!

This is an outfit I wore in Cleveland over the weekend. This was my dressy outfit for our dinner date, but it also ended up being extremely comfortable and warm. Warmth is key for me when I go up north in Ohio. It’s only a few degrees colder than Cincinnati, but I swear the lake effect hits me hard. You’ve probably noticed I’ve been wearing these shoes a ton. Honestly, I’m not much of a heels girl, but these Vince Camuto’s are insanely comfy! The Mary Jane style sold me on them, but the comfort is what keeps me coming back. Speaking of wearing something a little too much, it’s that time of year where I start living in my J.Crew Pixie pants. If you don’t own a pair, please go to J.Crew or online and order them ASAP! I wear mine to work and on the weekends. They’re the perfect everyday pant, especially in the cold months when you don’t want to wear skirts or dresses *nods head*.

I also found this Zara blouse bunched up in a ball in my closet recently. I think the last time I wore it was in March, and I had totally forgotten about it. Gotta love closet cleanouts!
