Happy Tuesday! Yesterday we got a nice little dose of summer, and experienced some amazing 79 degree weather. It was glorious. Honestly, it kind of made me forget that Halloween is Friday. This is actually the first time since college that I’ve had plans for Halloween. I ordered the main part of my costume late last week, and I’m extremely nervous it won’t be here on time. The option of express shipping escaped me until after ordering the dress. My fingers are crossed, because I really wanted to do a blog post on it the day of Halloween!

Today I’m mixing some feminine colors with a pair of edgy pants. I was in the process of transporting my jewelry to my new house last week, which meant reorganizing a brand new jewelry drawer. I’ll admit, I was pretty unhappy about the task at first. The last thing you want to do after a long day of work is figure out how to organize a drawer. My feelings changed though when I started finding jewelry I haven’t worn all year. Sometimes I’ll try and protect my jewelry by keeping it in the cloth bag, but I end up forgetting that it even exists. I’m the kind of person that needs to see something to remember it’s there. This BaubleBar necklace has officially ditched it’s hiding place, and is now front and center in the jewelry drawer. It’s the little things (like jewelry organization) that make me happy.
