Cable Knit Comfort

Ralph Lauren Cable Knit Sweater

This Ralph Lauren cable knit sweater is something I’ve had for years, and rarely get around to wearing. White sweaters are tricky sometimes, because you tend to wear them during the summer when you have a tan, but it’s usually pretty hot in the summer also (duh). I’ve determined that the ideal time frame for this is right around now. It’s pretty warm, but we’re still having those days that are a little breezy. Yesterday was one of those days, so it was perfect.

Do you ever get really excited to wear something that you recently bought? That is me with literally everything that I purchase, and it also applies to these Soludos espadrilles. They were one of my final Piperlime purchases (still coping with the shutdown), and I’ve been eager to wear them. I thought the espadrilles were the perfect contrast to the chunky sweater, as I always associate espadrilles with summer.

Casual Spring Outfit

I’m off to Cleveland tomorrow to watch my boyfriend run the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon on Sunday. He’s an amazing runner, so I’m excited to see how he does. I ran cross country in high school, and sadly am just not a good runner anymore. Not that I was particularly good in high school, but it’s an amazing workout! I am trying to get back into it, though.

Have a good weekend!

I hope your boyfriend did well in his marathon! I’m a horrible runner so I totally appreciate people that can run more than 3 miles 🙂 And I am exactly like you – I get so excited when I have something new in my closet that I cannot wait to wear it! I LOVE those espadrilles and that sweater!
