With the holiday season in full swing, I thought I’d share a cute and easy idea to spruce up your outdoor display.  This was my mom’s idea (I don’t think I have a crafty bone in my body), so I cannot take any credit for it, but I thought it was so cute that I had to share!

Every year we decorate our house with three, yes three Christmas trees.  We get a real tree that’s about 10-12 feet tall, and have two smaller artificial trees in different rooms of the house.  My family recently got a new artificial tree to replace an older one, so we were left with an extra tree.  My mom decided to get crafty and took the top 1/3 of the tree and decorated it with a white strand of lights.  She put it in a planter we have on our front porch.  It looks so good lit up at night, and is the perfect little Christmas tree to complement the other outdoor decorations.  Happy December!
