The theme of today’s pictures? Wind. It seems the snow has given way to 25 mph wind gusts, but I can’t complain too much since I’m completely over the snow. I was so excited to see it was sunny, so I could actually get some bright photos! Once I got outside I spent most of the time attempting to look somewhat cute while my hair was whipping me in the face. You can decide for yourself how that turned out. I now have a newfound respect for supermodels who have to pose with wind machines. I’m not a supermodel and the wind here wasn’t from a machine, but I’m assuming it’s pretty similar!
Luckily, these leather pants from H&M kept me pretty warm! I think some people tend to stay away from leather because they think it’s too intense or edgy. I personally feel that anyone is capable of pulling off the leather look. Adding a fun, less serious top helps balance out leather bottoms. For today’s look, I thought this polka dot blouse was the perfect way to liven up my outfit. And of course, I was more than happy to wear sunglasses for the first sunny day in a long time!
The only way to tame my hair: holding it down.
Trying to work with the wind.

Eeeeek, I love the good Forever 21 finds! That necklace is incredible too!
Thank you! I love when you can find great pieces that look expensive from there!

Hi, I’m also in the Cincinnati area! I’m currently at UC studying journalism and am in a blogging seminar, so I’m now trying my hand at blogging, too. I love your style posts — this is my first time on your site. It’s great to see a Cincinnati blogger interested in the same things as me! So glad I stumbled upon this blog!

Thank you so much Holly! It’s nice to meet someone else in Cincinnati. I studied journalism until midway through my junior year of college, so we have a lot in common! I’m glad you like my blog. I checked yours out too, and it’s great! We should definitely keep in touch!

Just stumbled across your blog and fell in love. You are the cutest! So jealous those H&M pants fit you – they were highwaters on me haha. Werk it, gf!
Thank you so much, Sarah!! I was having a bad day, and your comment just made it a lot better! If it makes you feel any better, I always have to get HUGE sizes because their clothes fit so weird on me. It’s like shopping at Baby Gap!
