I’m a massive fan of the fashion brand Simon Miller. Their pieces perfectly encapsulate my style, from fabulous fringe to cascades of color. They blend fun and polish into closet staples I thought only existed in my dreams.

A smile stays plastered to my face each time the brand releases a new collection. Every month, I declare that this collection is my all-time favorite, and I’ve been saying that for many months.

This particular release of new arrivals absolutely delighted me. How can you not be happy just looking at all the colors and textures so effortlessly woven together? It would have been easier to just link to the Simon Miller new arrivals page, because every single item is something I’d wear.

After a long winter (if you’re in NYC, it still feels like winter), I am so ready to pile on the color and fun in my outfits. I’m ready to rock my fringe midi skirt and wear an open-toe shoe. Ready to wear a look with four different colors and a bright pink lip. Ready for fun.

It feels like fashion is finally waking up from the years-long sad stupor it was in. Between the loud logos and the complete lack of color anywhere in sight, it all felt devoid of personality. It honestly made me sad! I’d never felt more like Lexi Featherston (played by the iconic Kirsten Johnston) in Sex and the City when she declared, “No one’s fun anymore. Whatever happened to fun? God, I’m so bored, I could die.”

While Lexi had a tragic end in this episode, fashion hasn’t. Simon Miller is at the forefront of brands doing great things in terms of playful, unique styles. I’m just happy that the greater fashion world seems to be catching up!
