Pop of Blue

Gap Black Turtleneck

I always forget about these cobalt pants. I think I got them a year or two ago, but rarely wear them for some reason. They came out of hiding yesterday when I had an intervention with myself about my Pixie pant problem. It was time to add some color to my life, despite the latest snow storm (with a heavy dose of sleet). These poor brown booties have gotten pretty beat up this winter. They’ve become my shoe of choice when I still want to look stylish but keep my feet warm. Unfortunately, they’ve had a lot of elements to concur this year, so it’s probably time to give them a rest!

Last night, I had my first intro to HTML/CSS class. It’s offered by Girl Develop It, and is geared toward women who want to learn how to build their own websites. They have chapters in cities all over the country, so if you want to learn what goes into making a website, I highly recommend it! Learning code has always terrified me, and it almost made me too nervous to make a blog when I first started. This is the perfect way to learn it and not be intimidated!

    1. Those pants are NOT allowed to go back in hiding. You look amazing. 2. You might be inspiring me to have an intervention with all the black in my wardrobe. emphasis on the word “might”. 3. I’m looking into this girl develop thing bc i’m with you on the deep fear of HTML. 4. Can you come do my hair for me? 🙂

Hey thanks for the heads up on the coding class, I have been wanting to take a coding class to know the basics. This sounds great and love the pants. I have similar ones in a lighter blue.

Digging the bright blue pants- a great way to shake up a winter wardrobe. 🙂
I’m so sick of snow + winter- we got 10 inches here in KC, with another storm on the way for early next week… Yikes!

Good luck with the CSS/HTML class! You can dooooo it! 🙂

This winter weather is totally putting a damper on my style – but I’m going to take a page out of your book! You look awesome in this. This color is the perfect way to brighten up a winter wardrobe.
