The Perfect Fall Dress

Checkered Maroon Silk Dress

Is anyone else relieved it’s Friday? This week really seemed to drag for some reason, and I think it was this dreary weather. True story: I’ve actually been sitting in my car throughout the work day this week to warm up. I turn the heat all the way up and listen to the radio. Basically, it’s heaven, and I’m a huge baby when it’s even a tiny bit chilly. This winter is going to be an interesting one!

We had a few mild days this week, so I took advantage and wore this maroon Cremieux dress. It’s become glued to my body the last few weeks because it’s so comfortable. I love pieces that look really put together and dressy, but you feel like you’re fooling everyone because it feels like you’re wearing pajamas. If only every piece of clothing could pull off double duty like this! I’m excited it’s the weekend because my Saturday night is going to revolve around shopping. I’m having a private shopping party at Trend Boutique, and am excited to do some shopping with my friends! I’ll be sure to take plenty of pictures to share in a post next week.

I totally agree with you! I wish all clothes felt cozy and comfortable all day.
Also, I am kind of jealous that you are having cool weather, because we are still sweating down south :/

Cute dress Olivia! I don’t blame you for enjoying the warmth of your car – I’m a bit of a wimp when it comes to the cold and I’m definitely not looking forward to temperatures dropping even further. Maybe we can carry around personal heaters 😉

Really beautiful dress for Autumn, I love that it has sleeves as you can style it with some cool knitted vest. The color is awesome too!
