Blanket Scarf

Anthropologie Blanket Scarf

Hello, and happy Monday! It feels like its been a hot minute since I last posted on here because of all the holiday chaos. I decided to spend some time offline the past week, and just enjoy Christmastime. Don’t you wish it could be this festive year round? It’s also the perfect excuse to overeat/drink and not feel guilty. Some of my weaknesses this year were lemon squares, champagne and ravioli. In case you were wondering, there’s no greater food than homemade ravioli. It’s one of the many perks of being Italian. In addition to the excessive eating, it was also nice hanging out with my family. Every year, after our Christmas day activities, we come home and “get lazy”. We have a MegaTouch at our house, so my mom and I always play Photo Hunt for longer than I’d like to admit. It’s a weirdly nice way to decompress from the holiday stress. If any of you have ever played Photo Hunt, I think you’ll agree with me that it can be pretty addicting!

I wanted to add a dose of color to today’s outfit, so I opted for this bold blanket scarf from Anthropologie. I got it last year, but oddly have barely worn it. My scarves tend to get lost in my closet, and therefore rarely get worn. When I put it on and took these pictures, I remembered how insanely substantial and warm it is, so it instantly earned a few fashion brownie points. Plus, now that the harsh winter is going to be setting in, I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a lot more of each other.

I love the scarf! I’m all about using scarves for color this time of year. They’re a great addition to the jeans, sweater and a boots uniform I’ve adopted at work lately. Happy Christmas! Glad you got your ravioli fill, it’s definitely one of my favorite parts of our Italian parties too.

Love the blanket scarf look! So darling! Through another blogger thestylestorm.com , I found a darling blanket scarf from sheinside.com for about $ 11. It took awhile to get to me but is very cute! Thanks for sharing your blog today. Very lovely!

I LOVE that scarf!! It’s gorgeous and such a nice contrast in color to my current obsession with gray tones. I’m like you – I have the same problem with losing scarfs to my closet. My latest solution is to hang them up on hangers next to my belts. It’s working so far!
