I could throw a party in celebration of this week ending. For starters, my boyfriend will be in town later today. I think he’ll be happy to see that there’s no snow on the ground here. Also, the work week is over and I really could use a glass bottle of champagne to celebrate this milestone.
I wanted to share with you an outfit I styled with Valentine’s Day in mind. This eye-catching beaded and sequined dress is from Curate Boutique, and fits like a glove. I did a story with WCPO, a Cincinnati media station, and my mission was to show that you don’t have to wear red or pink for Valentine’s Day. I actually love the idea of opting for an unexpected color and standing out from the crowd. The detailing on this dress is truly remarkable, and it’s the perfect option for a fancy date night.

Also, how insanely cute are these heart-shaped balloons? So cliche, but so incredibly cute! I had bought these balloons the night before shooting this outfit, and was a little sad when I saw them the next day. One looked pretty sad with all the air it had lost. There are a few pictures that didn’t make the cut, but lets just say the wind pretty much flattened my deflated balloon.

That dress is gorgeous! I really need to check Curate out!
