How is it already Wednesday?! This week is flying by, but no complaints over here. Between being busy with work and what seems like a foot of snow frozen to the ground, I feel like I’ve been neglecting my blogging duties, but hopefully that’ll change when the snow melts a little.
I mentioned last week that I was traveling to Nashville over the weekend for a bachelorette party. It was actually my first trip to Nashville, and I have to say that I’m very impressed! I didn’t realize how big of a city Nashville was, and just how many amazing restaurants there are. There were cute places to eat and drink on every corner. There did happen to be an ice storm the second we arrived Friday, and the entire city was one big sheet Friday night. Everyone had their fair share of falls. Luckily my icy fall occurred in Cincinnati while packing up the car, so mine included minimal embarrassment (and nobody witnessing it). If you’re going to wipe out in public, that’s the way to go.
Since it seems like we’re going to be buried under this snow blanket for awhile, I’ve been trying to keep my spirits up with some colorful baubles. My poor wardrobe has been pathetic lately, and I’ve been in some major need of inspiration. This week I’m challenging myself to start wearing cute winter clothes again, and to put away the J.Crew pixie pants. This colorful collection is just what the doctor ordered!

So glad you had fun in Nashville! And I am loving that ombre statement necklace- how pretty would it be with a basic white tee?

I hate falling randomly. In fact, I just fell down some steps in Charleston. Embarrassing! Thankfully, it was painless. So glad you had a great time in Nashville! I keep hearing that it’s a great city.
