I firmly believe heart-themed jewelry is appropriate year-round, and I proudly wear mine all the time. If you like to reserve your heart baubles for the season of love, then now is your time!
It seems like heart jewelry has been having a moment in recent years, and I’m thrilled to see it. I’ve been a lifelong fan and collector of these pieces. When I was eleven, my family visited Vancouver. I vividly remember this incredible boutique we stumbled upon, and it was every girl’s dream. So many accessories and fun shoes. I got a sparkly, puffy heart necklace that I still have to this day! I’ve loaned it to my mom in recent years, but it still looks brand new. I also got the cutest pair of denim sandals at this store, and am regretting getting rid of them years ago. I’m delusional enough to think they’d still fit me.

Another favorite in my collection is the iconic pair of Loren Hope Cupid earrings. These frequently sell out, so act quickly! I have the classic crystal pair, but the violet option is really testing my self-control.
If you want to see a throwback, here’s a blog post and video from 2019, where I wore the Cupid earrings and paired them with a raspberry champagne float cocktail. I used to do a series I called “The Perfect Pairing,” where I’d share a piece of jewelry and a sparkling cocktail that pairs with it. I’ve been working on getting that going again, but in the meantime, you can see previous pairings here!
I love being on-theme for a holiday, so I’m preparing all my heart pieces for Valentine’s Day. I might not have any plans yet, but I’ll be ready to make a statement!
