'23' Birthday Candles

via

I feel like I’ve been MIA lately, but the month of May has been an incredibly busy one! I started real estate class on Monday, and have had zero time to focus on anything else. My dad is in real estate, and has been encouraging me to get my license so I could follow in his footsteps. I never thought I’d be getting into the business, but figured it would be a good skill to have under my belt. Driving an hour to and from class at 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. have made it impossible to muster up the energy to blog.

On a different note, today is my 23rd birthday! Twenty-two was a year full of ups and downs, but everything has been a great learning experience. The past year was definitely a transitional one. Graduating college, moving back home, and transitioning into the real world has been quite the change! The past year is also when I started my blog, which has been one of the most amazing and rewarding experiences for me. Blogging has allowed me to interact with so many different people, who I truly consider to be friends of mine! I’m excited to see what 23 has in store!

P.S. – I may or may not have listened to ‘22‘ by Taylor Swift on repeat last night to celebrate my last few moments before the big 2-3.

Happy Birthday and congrats on a successful year! Funny about the T.Swift!! I listened to ABBA’s “Dancing Queen” on repeat the night before turning 18.

Aw Happy Birthday!! I know how that transitional stage must be – but hang in there 🙂 I started my blog on my birthday too, and I have to agree it’s been fantastic!

Happy Birthday!! 23 is what I like to call one of the “awkward adult” years lol But what’s that saying? “Life is about the journey, not the destination”… Definitely meant for 20-somethings lol Have a great week! 🙂
