Last weekend was Oktoberfest here in Cincinnati (which also happens to be the largest Oktoberfest outside of Munich, Germany!). I wish I could say that I’m an adventurous beer drinker, but that’s just not the case. I prefer beer over liquor, but I’m mostly a light beer girl who is more than happy with a Bud Light. There are so many craft breweries these days, so I know I need to expand my horizons. Oktoberfest was not the time for that, however. I was too preoccupied with strategically standing near the Bavarian pretzel stand the entire time (I prefer to eat my calories).
I wanted to wear a no-fuss outfit that was cute, but still functional for standing outside all day. This entailed a white tank top from White House Black Market (the most comfortable basics ever) and a flowy open cardigan. I was convinced that booties would be comfortable because of the thick heel, but I was wrong. I think it took 12 hours for me to regain feeling in my feet the next day. Some of us just aren’t cut out for heels.
Top: White House Black Market | Cardigan: Fluxus (similar) | Pants: MSSP (similar) | Shoes: Alfani (LOVING this pair)| Bracelet: Kate Spade | Necklace: Unknown (similar)
So cute! I love a good fall basic and you have them all covered here! (Loving that tassle necklace too!)
Thank you! I don’t think you can ever have too many basics, especially for fall!
You look fantastic Olivia! I prefer to eat my calories too – and pretzels, especially fresh ones, are the best!
Thanks, Grace! I ate at least two (with cheese). They’re addicting!
Love the necklace- very Rachel Zoe!

Thanks, Brooke!
Love all the neutral tones in this outfit! Hope your feet are fully recovered. I definitely have a subset of shoes in my collection that are cute but cannot be worn for extensive walking/standing. Have a great weekend!
Thank you, Stephanie! Next time I’ll choose comfort over cuteness!
Perfect casual fall outfit. I love the booties.
