Oktoberfest

Last weekend was Oktoberfest here in Cincinnati (which also happens to be the largest Oktoberfest outside of Munich, Germany!). I wish I could say that I’m an adventurous beer drinker, but that’s just not the case. I prefer beer over liquor, but I’m mostly a light beer girl who is more than happy with a Bud Light. There are so many craft breweries these days, so I know I need to expand my horizons. Oktoberfest was not the time for that, however. I was too preoccupied with strategically standing near the Bavarian pretzel stand the entire time (I prefer to eat my calories).

I wanted to wear a no-fuss outfit that was cute, but still functional for standing outside all day. This entailed a white tank top from White House Black Market (the most comfortable basics ever) and a flowy open cardigan. I was convinced that booties would be comfortable because of the thick heel, but I was wrong. I think it took 12 hours for me to regain feeling in my feet the next day. Some of us just aren’t cut out for heels.

Love all the neutral tones in this outfit! Hope your feet are fully recovered. I definitely have a subset of shoes in my collection that are cute but cannot be worn for extensive walking/standing. Have a great weekend!
