I don’t know about other places, but we seem to be having an Indian summer here in Cincinnati. I’m not complaining, though. It’s pretty nice getting to wear my summer stuff that never saw the light of day this year. My social life was pretty minimal this summer because of work, so my cute summery clothes stayed put in my closet. Luckily, my social activities have also picked up as of late (although I am just as busy). I think everyone’s in good spirits because of the nice weather.
My parents and I took advantage of a free Sunday, and went to brunch at Incline Public House over the weekend. As amazing as brunch is, it’s also the devil a few hours after the meal. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m pretty much incapacitated the rest of the day after brunching. Eating, drinking mimosas, and sitting outside enjoying the sun is perfect, but I also pay the price the rest of the day. Post-brunch is when I spend some quality time with my bed and the remote.
Since I knew we’d be sitting outside, I opted for lightweight clothes. These chevron shorts finally made an appearance, and I wanted to add some color with this hot pink top. Overall, it was a great weekend for enjoying this Indian summer, and I’m ready to take on whatever weather Mother Nature brings on next.

Fantastic shorts!
Ummmm, these shorts though! So cute and the pink is the perfect compliment!

Those shorts are so fun!
Those shorts are adorable! And I agree about brunch – sometimes I feel energized afterwards but most of the time, I feel so sleepy! I think it must be all the carbs or something. Even coffee doesn’t help…
Hellooooo, babe city! Love the bright lip on you!
