These pictures were taken on what was probably the last nice day here in Cincinnati. I think these pale legs are going to be covered for the next five months, which is probably for the best. Right now it feels like the middle of winter, and it makes me want to hibernate in my bed. It’s 10:30 on Wednesday night as I type this, and I’m currently in my warmest clothes, with an electric heating pad on my lap, watching Sixteen Candles. I’m pathetic, but warm.
Earlier last night consisted of another Cincinnati fashion blogger get-together at W.G. Kitchen & Bar (formerly The Wine Guy). I indulged in a wine flight with four different sweet wines. They were all really good, which made a good night even better ;)!
You may remember me talking about the Gap Clearance Center in Kentucky. Well, that’s where I got the leather skirt I’m wearing today. Pretty good find, right? I was happy with myself, at least! The color is what sold me on it. I loved the burgundy/maroon/red/oxblood shade (there are a million terms for this color). I wore it out a few weekends ago with a fitted black sweater, but wanted to pair it with something a little more sophisticated today. I’ve been all about the classic white blouse lately, and adding this sweater with silver buttons and faux fur collar really glams it up! I may not be able to wear this outfit now that it’s so cold, but at least I’ll have these pictures to remind me of warmer times.
