I’ve been on a spring shoe kick as of late. Not only have I spent way too much time browsing all my favorite sites for all their new spring soles, but I’ve already stocked up on a few pairs. I’m pretty hard on my shoes, so I look for pairs that will hold up with my heavy duty use. Mules and espadrilles are on my radar this spring, and I think both styles are made to wear well.

With all this open-toed shoe talk, it’s probably really fitting that I got my first pedicure in years last night. Yes, years. I went to The Avenue in Cheviot for the first time, and the decor was right up my alley. Think oversized glamorous mirrors and sparkly chandeliers and light fixtures everywhere. Heaven. I always forget how amazing pedicures are until I’m actually there, getting lotion rubbed on my feet and soaking them in a satisfyingly hot tub. Oh, and the vibrating chairs help, too. As someone with major back problems, those pulsating chairs are a game-changer. Needless to say, I think I’ll be splurging on more pedicures in the future!

On a side note, I’m watching The Royals as I write this post. Has anyone else been watching this show on E!? I know it only started a few weeks ago, but I’m obsessed with it already! That William Moseley sure is easy on the eyes. E has definitely hit it out of the park for their first scripted show, if you ask me.
