Happy Monday, and more importantly, happy Opening Day!
Despite the Reds being pretty terrible the past few seasons, baseball is a huge deal here in Cincinnati. Opening Day is a tradition that everyone celebrates here, even if you’re not at the game. The Reds were the first major league baseball team after all!
I kind of lost sight of Opening Day this year, and it’s the first time in years that I’m not going. It’s okay though, because if the forecast is correct then it’s going to be cold and rainy (no thanks). Last year it ended up being way chillier than we anticipated, and I did not dress appropriately but did like my outfit despite the cold weather. Click here to see what I wore to last year’s Reds Opening Day festivities!
I guess I’m somewhat festive today in my red and tweed blazer (glad that worked out!). This blazer is a good four years old, and I’ve only worn it a handful of times. It’s Cremieux, which has always been one of my favorite brands that Dillard’s carries. Everything is very classic and preppy with a fun twist. Today I’m dressing it down a bit in some dark wash skinny jeans. I’m wearing the Paige Hoxton skinny jeans, and they seriously feel like butter. I don’t think I’ve ever worn a pair of denim more comfortable!

I kind of love the never fading enthusiasm that so many sports fans have that their team who has never won anything, is going to win THIS year. It’s cute and reminds me I should be more optimistic about my own life. That color is gorgeous on you by the way!

Haha after a few losing games the hopefulness fades away! Thanks Alissa!
