I’m really excited about today’s outfit because it involves this gorgeous fringe skirt from the new clothing line Kakes and Beege!

Having a fashion blog has allowed me to collaborate with so many different people, and today is no different. Tina is the mastermind behind Kakes and Beege, and she is actually a very good friend of my mom’s from back in high school! When she reached out about starting her new line of skirts, I was so excited as fashion obviously holds a very soft spot in my heart.

I’m wearing this fringe pencil skirt from the collection, and I can’t say enough good things about the fit. When I slipped it on, it fit perfectly! I was seriously impressed because it’s pretty much impossible to find the right fit these days. The construction of the skirt also feels very luxurious. The faux leather fringe detail really drew me in because it adds a fun an unexpected twist to the traditional pencil skirt. Plus, this color combination makes it easy to pair with pretty much any top!

Today I opted for a sleek and feminine cream colored bow top from Banana Republic. Wearing sleeveless tops has been a priority lately because all I can think about are the approaching days where I’ll have to be much more layered before I leave the house.
