Nada Cincinnati
If you follow me on Instagram then you probably saw my post about our recent Wednesday night dinner at Nada. I was invited to experience their Wednesday Getaway menu, which transports you to a tiki paradise!
I picked Joe up after work and we headed to Nada and it could not have been a more beautiful night. We both share a love for Nada, and it’s extra special when you get to sit outside on a nice night and enjoy the weather.
The Meal
Of course, we had to experience the Wednesday-only menu for ourselves! There are two options under the tiki cocktail section. There’s a rum punch that is perfect for a group since it serves 2-4 people. We kept it more tame and ordered the Mango Sea-Duction, which was a fresh and fruity cocktail booming with lime juice, mango, and passion fruit flavor.
The tiki sampler is intended to be shared, so you get four different dishes with your order. First up is the tuna poke which included watermelon and jalapeno. The Ensalada nada was a flavorful mix of kale, sweet corn, avocado and more finished off with a chipotle pineapple vinaigrette. The spiced pineapple was simple yet creative, with cayenne pepper to give it a kick. The crispy chicken wings had a Mexcal-chipotle glaze that literally shimmered in the sunlight. Judging by Joe’s saucy napkin these were a hit!
I wanted to wear a colorful outfit to go along with the theme for the night, so I opted for a mix of pink, yellow and rainbow-colored statement earrings. I’ve been all about yellow this summer, so I try and wear it as much as possible while I still have a tan!
