I never thought I’d be one to wear a white suit, let alone in the middle of winter. I’ve always appreciated a tailored look, but coordinating separates have become an obsession in recent years. There’s something so timeless about a suit.

I’ve long been a fan of all things menswear-inspired (I wore my own version of a tuxedo, after all!), and I love that you can put your own feminine touch into it if you’d like. For me, that’s adding heels, a chic handbag, and some jewelry.
Pop of Yellow
While an all-white look would be perfect to give off winter white vibes, I wanted to add some color to my outfit. I was playing around with some pieces in my closet and thought I’d give this yellow cashmere sweater from J.Crew a try and it worked perfectly!
Actually, I loved how it looked underneath the blazer especially since I recently shrunk this sweater right after purchasing it. I hand washed it like the instructions said to and let it air dry as the label suggested. Well, it ended up totally shrinking and I was devastated. I’ve Googled some tips to try and stretch your sweaters out to normal, but if you have any tips please let me know!
Anyway, a pop of color is crucial for me this time of year to keep my spirits as bright as possible. I love that this outfit can work in the dead of winter or in the middle of summer!

I’m currently typing this in the midst of a crazy snowstorm. Joe and I laid low on Saturday night, and I’m glad we did because the wind and the snow
Elegant Accessories
Today’s accessories pack a simple punch. I recently purchased these classic nude pumps, and this was my first time taking them out for a spin. Unfortunately, I lost my footing and completely scuffed the entire back of one of the heels. They will definitely be taking a trip to the shoe repair store shortly because I have this exact heel in three other colors and love them!
