Lilac is a color I’ve always loved but never actually implemented into my wardrobe.
Recently I had been on the hunt to add some lilac to my wardrobe, so I was delighted when I came across this Emma Ruffle dress from Gal Meets Glam Collection. This dress was part of the initial brand launch and I ordered it right away out of fear it would sell out. I’ve been known to love a good collared dress, and this one caught my eye immediately. Plus you guys know I love ruffles. Remember this gingham ruffle dress & this ruffled matching set?
I wore it to work a few weeks ago and people commented on it the entire day. Since real estate requires a lot of running around throughout the day I ran a lot of errands and interacted with a lot of people. I was amazed at how many people complimented it and said what a timeless piece it was!
If you’re like me you dread going to the post office, especially because everyone that works there seems to be anything but pleasant. I was on the other side of town this particular day. So I ended up at a post office I had never been to. I never thought I’d say this, but I actually had an enjoyable experience! I’m incompetent when it comes to mail and packages, but the lady was extremely sweet and helpful and we spent a few minutes talking about my Gal Meets Glam dress!
I love when fashion gives you a reason to chat with someone.
Joe and I had a very casual weekend and it was amazing! He was out of town all last week and had to fly to D.C. yesterday. So we really just laid low in the condo all weekend not doing too much. I’m still recovering from surgery. So I haven’t ventured out too much. Although we did manage to enjoy an outdoor lunch at Nada and the weather and food were perfect!
