21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati Luxury Review

If you follow me on Instagram then you probably saw that Joe and I recently enjoyed a relaxing and sophisticated staycation weekend at 21c Museum Hotel’s Cincinnati property. We spent the weekend exploring BLINK (a magical projection and art mapping event in Cincinnati). So, this served as the perfect home base.

I’ve been a huge fan of the hotel and was thrilled when Cincinnati got its own 21c in 2012. It’s brought a fresh, modern offering to downtown and I love that there’s always something to see and do there. If you saw my blog post about five ways to make the most of 21c during the recent BLINK Cincinnati festivities, it’s pretty evident just how much the museum hotel has to offer.

Despite enjoying 21c Cincinnati more times than I can remember over the years, this was actually my first time spending the night at the property. I’ve experienced every other aspect of the hotel, so I knew this would be a top-notch experience. Spoiler alert: it was!

What We Did

The weekend started off at The Spa at 21c, which is always a place I look forward to visiting. Joe and I enjoyed the Treat Yourself package and witnessing him experience that best spa in town was equally as enjoyable as getting the actual pampering services. The Treat Yourself package offers a 50-minute massage and a 21c Signature Glow Facial. I am a firm believer that everyone should experience this! It was wonderful and so relaxing that it took all my energy to force myself to leave the hotel that first night. The staff at the spa is extremely friendly and willing to accommodate your needs and requests, making for a soothing and memorable experience.

On Saturday we spent some time checking out the art around the hotel. As evidenced by the name of the hotel, 21c is abundant with art. There are a variety of exhibits, and it’s so cool and unique that a hotel offers a world-class museum experience.

We also grabbed some drinks and food at Metropole, the restaurant located on the first floor of the hotel. The burnt carrot salad is always a crowd favorite if you’re looking for a recommendation!

Even though our weekend was jam-packed we did make a point to find some downtime and just relax in the hotel room. It was so nice lounging on the bed and watching tv for a little bit. Plus, we had a great view of the Aronoff Center and could see everyone walking around once BLINK started at night.

The rooms at 21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati are just as luxurious as you’d expect. They’re spacious, modern and sleek. I also fell in love with the bathrooms as they featured a mix of black, white, and marble!
