Escape Lounge Lowdown
As someone who travels frequently and considers Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) as my go-to airport to fly out of, I was very excited when I found out an Escape Lounge would be opening in Terminal B.
I got to attend the grand opening and see first hand this wonderful luxury option travelers have when passing through CVG. Guests who enter the lounge get to enjoy unlimited amenities. For instance, hot and cold food and beverages, seating and charging stations abound, wi-fi, the latest flight information and a mix of local and national newspapers.
American Express Platinum cardholders get complimentary access to the lounge and can bring up to two guests. Others are welcome to use the lounge for a fee of $45 plus tax. But if you book your visit ahead of time at escapelounges.com you receive a $5 discount.
Lounges open at 5 a.m. and close at 8:30 p.m., making it available for the most popular flight times.

The Freshest of Food
Escape Lounges partner with local chefs to bring high quality, local ingredients to enhance your visit. CVG’s Escape Lounge is lucky to have prominent chef Alfio Gulisano heading up the food offerings for guests.
We were treated to a preview of what will be offered and I’m pleased to share that Alfio’s famous empanadas will be available! Other offerings included a charcuterie board, pasta salad, fruit cups and plenty of sweet bites. There’s also fresh juice on hand and a coffee station offering popular local company Coffee Emporium. For those looking to imbibe, there’s also a full-service bar to order your spirits.

The lounge is decorated with a perfect mix of modern luxury and retro touches. The colors are inviting but not too loud. It’s the exact space you’d want to get some work done. Grab a drink or just hang out before your flight takes off.
If you’re flying out of CVG in the future, make a point to visit Escape Lounge. You’ll be traveling with ease after taking a moment to unwind and “escape” the usual stressors of travel.
