Colorful Wedding Guest Dresses

I was going to start this off by saying “it’s officially wedding season”, but wedding season seems to be a year-round thing these days. With COVID causing couples to reschedule their wedding dates and the massive number of newly engaged couples, there’s been quite a backlog that only continues to grow as people rush to secure their wedding dates. What does that mean? Lots of weddings for YOU to attend and find a dress for!

As someone who got married in June of last year, I was adamant that I always wanted a summer wedding. It’s my favorite time of year for many reasons, including fashion. My color-loving self comes to life this time of year. While I surprisingly don’t have any weddings to attend in the near future, I know many people are gearing up to attend all the nuptials on their calendars. I’ve been doing a lot of perusing and there are tons of great dress options out there right now. I was oohing and aahing over all of them so much that it made me wish I had some formal obligations on my calendar so I could dress up.

While color has always been part of my style repertoire, it seems that brands across the board are opting for colorful designs. I’m loving bright and bold hues over muted, pastel options, but you simply cannot go wrong however you choose to incorporate color!

As I’ve gotten older I confess that I can no longer tolerate an uncomfortable heel at the weddings I attend. Hell, I couldn’t even tolerate it on my own wedding day. I know some brides opt for sky-high heels but had I done that I would have been a true bridezilla on my big day. Instead, I wore my beloved Loeffler Randall Camellia heels. I already had them in gold before my wedding so I knew they’d be a solid choice. I purchased my wedding shoes in white, but the brand now makes many beautiful Camellia options that are perfect, whether you’re a wedding guest or the bride-to-be!
