Last week I had the incredible opportunity to spend an evening with some other local bloggers at Luxe Redux Bridal in the Reading Bridal District of Cincinnati.
It was a Galentine’s Day-inspired night, and the whole event was truly magical! I’ve been to many events over the years, and this was one for the books. I loved the intimate vibe and it was great getting pampered and playing dress up in wedding dresses.

I also got to meet some new faces and hang out with familiar ones! Bryanna of Coming in Clutch was there and I always love catching up with her, whether it’s sweating in a barre class or trying on bridal gowns! I also got to meet Kristen of Red Couch Closet and Hannah from Hannah Shanae. It’s always nice meeting other local bloggers.

We had our hair and makeup done by Janay Beauty and they did an amazing job. They treated us to champagne and sweets from Hygge Cakes. Sounds pretty perfect, right?!
The best part?
We had the chance to pick out our favorite dress and have a photoshoot in it. Anastasia of Chapel Lane Photography was on hand to capture every moment of the night! I’ve never tried on a wedding dress before so I really didn’t know what a special moment it would be until it actually happened! I narrowed my selection down to a few options but ultimately went with this striped stunner from Hayley Paige. I’ve only browsed wedding dresses online a handful of times, so I really never knew what style I loved. There was something about this dress that just spoke to me. I loved that it was sleek on top and more full and billowy on the bottom. It felt like me to a T!

I can definitely see why women love this!
I actually didn’t want to take my dress off at the end of the night. Being all made up and wearing the dress was just so much fun and I didn’t want the night to end. Getting to do a fun photoshoot with the other girls was also a fun and memorable experience.
If you’re unfamiliar with Luxe Redux Bridal, I’d love to share more about what their specialty is. With locations in Cincinnati, Columbus, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh, Luxe Redux serves as a designer sample boutique. They offer a wide selection of sample gowns, many of which come from high-end bridal boutiques and were simply tried on during bridal appointments. Luxe Redux is very selective about the designers they accept in their store, so you know you’re getting the best during your shopping experience.
Another cool feature that sets Luxe Redux Bridal apart is their Luxe in a Box service.
This is perfect for the bride who may prefer a different shopping experience. They send 3 gowns of your choice directly to your door for you to try on in the comforts of your home. All you have to do is return the dresses you don’t want and pick your dream dress to keep! I absolutely love that they offer this, as some brides may not have the time or desire to opt for the traditional shopping experience.
The evening ended with a surprise gift box that the ladies sent each of us home with! It was the cherry on top of a perfect event. We received goodies from Hygge Cakes, Game Day Feels, Nation Kitchen and Bar, 3 Points Urban Brewery, Simple Times Mixers, and Sara Gabriel picked out a custom piece of jewelry from her collection based on all of our personal styles. It was such a thoughtful touch!

I will remember this night for a long time and thank you so much to Luxe Redux Bridal for inviting me to play dress up!

What an amazing event! All of you are so beautiful! I skipped the traditional wedding gown process. I found my gown online pretty quickly. It was exactly what I wanted–and it was under $150. Even with the petticoat, it was less than $200 total. Still, I went a very non-traditional route with my wedding, which is not for everyone! It would be fun to enjoy the bridal experience in a traditional way, just to play dress-up.
