Review: Sutter Home Bubbly Pink Moscato

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I enjoyed a glass (or two) of Sutter Home’s Bubbly Pink Moscato the other night. I’ve had the wine version of this, but never the bubbly. I remember really enjoying the Pink Moscato wine, but the bubbly is what really blew me away. It had a strong flavor, but in a good way (if that makes any sense). Maybe calling it “flavorful” would be a good adjective to use. I’ve had some champagnes that seem to lack in taste or have any real notable flavor. I think that the bubbles and fizz may have overpowered the subtle taste. Sutter Home’s Bubbly Pink Moscato flavor really shines through, though. Instead of taking away from the flavor, the bubbles in this bottle seem to enhance the flavor of the Pink Moscato. The bubbles perfectly complement this amazing pink refreshment. The verdict? Two big thumbs up.

mmm Moscato! I’ve never had this kind, but I do love Cavit’s Moscato. I have to be careful with this stuff, I can easily go overboard because of how yummy it is. I’m going to have to look for this kind the next time I’m at the store.

I still have to try Cavit’s! I’m the same way. It’s so good that I’m tempted to drink it like it’s water! I’m not a big fan of liquor, so when I get to drink wine or champagne, I get excited because it’s so tasty. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Thanks for the review. I’ve never had the wine or the champagne version of this, so i’ll definitely have to try it. I am just starting to drink wine more frequently so i’m still trying to decide what kinds I like the best. If you have any suggestions on things to try feel free to throw them my way!

When I first started drinking wine, I had to experiment to see which kinds I liked. I definitely prefer white over red, and sweet over dry. For me, sweet wine goes down a lot easier and is just a lot tastier! Riesling and Moscato are my favorites. Barefoot is a great brand to test out different wines because they have so many varieties, and it’s very inexpensive (but so good)!

Definitely have to try this when I can find it. I absolutely LOVE the Sutter Home White Zinfandel, and my fiance LOVES their Sweet Red. I’m looking for a bubbly for our wedding reception, and this looks REALLY good.
