Flattering Crop Tops

The crop top epidemic has officially taken over fashion. I’ll admit, I’m still not a huge fan of those super cropped tops that could basically pass as bikini tops. It took me some time to jump on the crop top bandwagon because the only options I would see were those extremely cropped shirts. It doesn’t help that I’ve been slacking on my workout routine lately, so I definitely won’t be seen sporting those! I am, however, loving the abundance of longer crop tops being offered at various retailers. The longer shape of these tops is more appealing since you don’t feel like you’re exposing as much or like you need to suck in your stomach all night.

Pairing your crop top with high-waisted pants will also make you feel less concerned about baring your midriff. I’ve kind of been obsessing over this sequined daisy crop top from Urban Outfitters. The Peter Pan collar and flower details make it super feminine, and the best part is it barely looks cropped!

Would you sport a crop top, or are you completely turned off by them?

Glad you’re getting into it! I’m really not one for trends, but it was sooo hot last summer, that I thought they were an ideal choice and still think so. Have fun 🙂

I love the idea of crop tops, I mean lets be honest, it’s summer and it’s scorching hot – the less clothes the better 😉 But I don’t think I’m brave enough to wear one…I’ve leave that to those with a six pack lol

Haha same here Jen! I would only wear one that shows the tiniest amount of skin, but definitely not my entire stomach. I don’t think anyone wants to see that sight right now!
