All In The Details

Deepa Gurnani Belt with White Dress

Happy Tuesday! I had a relaxing weekend with my boyfriend that consisted of lots of food. It’s great dating someone who shares your love of eating. I also use him as my guinea pig for trying out foods that I can’t eat because of my nut allergy. Despite being allergic to nuts and not eating meat, I still consider myself a foodie.

We did a lot this weekend, but one of the highlights was checking out the new addition at Top of the Park Friday. If you’re looking for a top notch rooftop bar experience in Cincinnati, look no further than the Residence Inn. We were frequent visitors of Top of the Park last year, but they’ve taken it to a whole new level this year (literally). The rooftop bar is so successful that they added a second level this year. You take a staircase from the original rooftop area up to the second level (which is complete with a bar, massive fireplace feature and the most incredible views of Cincinnati and beyond).

I recommend getting there early to put your name on the waitlist. My boyfriend and I went around 5:30 and waited around 45 minutes. I didn’t mind the wait though, because the weather was amazing and I was craving a drink after a long day of showing houses. If you’re looking for me this summer, you’ll likely find me at the Top of the Park!

Accessorizing a White Dress

Deepa Gurnani Beaded Belt

White Dress with Deepa Gurnani Belt

This Deepa Gurnani belt from Anthropologie has already been getting lots of use in the short time that I’ve owned it. It’s a lot more versatile than I ever realized it could be. Take this white pencil dress, for example. It’s great on its own, but with this beaded statement belt, it has a totally different vibe. The detailing on this belt is gorgeous, and it’s a perfect companion with my Tara Lea Smith choker. This outfit is all about the details, and the white dress is the canvas for that.

k love your belt. Anthro always makes the best clothes 🙂 and I am right there with you on the whole food thing. I could eat eat eat every second. And I love cooking, too! when I have all the ingredients of course haha It’s the worst when I’m making something and I realize I don’t have a key ingredient. rookie mistake.
