Menswear-inspired fashion has long been a favorite of mine, and you’ve probably seen some of that influence on my blog. Perhaps one of my favorite ways to incorporate that borrowed-from-the-boys look is in my shoes. I’ve been wearing these metallic oxfords for years on my blog (evidenced here), and the love hasn’t faded.
Now that every brand is putting their best fall fashion foot forward, I’ve been seeing a ton of shoes that are testing the stability of my bank account. It’s loafer and oxford heaven out there, and I want it all. I was particularly impressed with the selection I saw at Nordstrom. So many colors and textures. I would totally find a way to argue that each pair is extremely different, thus justifying why I need to buy them.
As someone who only wears heels when necessary, these shoes are right up my comfortable alley. They’re effortlessly chic, and they’re appropriate for so many occasions. Is anyone else on an oxford and loafer kick like I am?

Yes!! I especially love the pair on the bottom left!
You know, I didn’t used to be but I started appreciating them more and more last winter and bought a solid pair. I think it’s because I’m so used to wearing heels, especially during winter. I can totally understand your love for them, though! They go with everything!

As if I need any more shoes (or oxfords – I own 7 of those alone) but these are a “necessity”;)
