How about that weekend weather?! Even though I worked pretty much all weekend, it was so nice walking outside and not having to scrape ice off my car. I think we’re back to February weather now, but it made me even more antsy for spring to get here.
I’ve been all about these over-the-knee boots since I got them in January. You instantly feel transformed the second you put them on, which doesn’t happen too often for me with shoes. Today, I’m pairing these with an A-line skirt and a fun leopard print blouse that happened to be my mom’s back in the day. I was worried about how the boots would pair with a skirt like this that wasn’t fitted, but I think it works. I think as long as you still have a little skin show between the skirt and the boots, then you’re all good.
This fuzzy scarf from Trend Boutique has been a winter essential this season. It has a faux fur finish to it, and really dresses up my casual outfits (and keeps me warm ;)).
Luckily you can’t tell, but it was freezing when Tiernae and I shot these pictures. This was our last outfit of the day, and we found this alley that ended up being a perfect backdrop. After we shot this outfit, we sprinted back to the car to avoid my legs getting frostbite, only to find that I had gotten a parking ticket 30 seconds earlier. My meter must have just expired as we were walking back, and I saw the parking enforcement guy jerk power walking away from my car to avoid confrontation. Needless to say, I was not too happy, especially since he had earlier seen me digging through my wallet for coins to pay the meter and asked me if the meter was working. Three weeks and $45 later, it still makes me mad!

Lovely outfit! I really need to invest in some knee high boots! xx
This is an awesome alley – worth the ticket 😉 And your OTK boots look great with your flounce skirt. One of my favorite pairings!
