J.Crew Skinny Jeans | Ann Taylor Top | Coach Crossbody Bag | Lulu’s Heels (similar)| J.Crew Earrings
This summer was definitely the summer of all-white outfits for me. I feel like half of my Instagram feed over the last few months includes some variation of a white ensemble. Of course, I have to inject a little dose of color whenever possible, which is why I stuck with pops of green today.
Of course, I have to inject a little dose of color whenever possible, which is why I stuck with pops of green today. Green is one of my favorite colors, which is why I didn’t hesitate when I laid eyes on this Coach crossbody bag a couple months ago. I know when I was in my teens you wanted to plaster logos over everything you owned. The bigger the better was the mentality when it came to showing off the brands you were wearing. Over the years that mentality started to shift though, and I am so glad it did.
I know when I was in my teens you wanted to plaster logos over everything you owned. The bigger the better was the mentality when it came to showing off the brands you were wearing. Over the years that mentality started to shift though, and I am so glad it did. Sure, I had things that were covered in logos myself, but as I’ve gotten older I’m more into my individuality and not having a brand name tagged on everything I wear. My first fancy purse when I was a tween was a Coach bag, and I still have a few of my old ones to this day!
I appreciate though, that as the times have changed, so have Coach’s styles. A lot of the bags I see these days aren’t even instantly recognizable as Coach, and I love it. Their colorful, simple bags these past few seasons have been catching my eye nonstop. This color stole my heart, and I love the simple design and sleek silver crossbody chain. There are also some cheeky charms attached to the flap, including a T-Rex (my favorite charm on the bag).
The rest of the outfit I kept simple, wearing white J.Crew skinny jeans with a white top from Ann Taylor. I added another pop of color with my statement earrings from J.Crew. My Coach bag also perfectly matched these green shutters behind me, which was the perfect scenario of the fashion and photography gods working in my favor!
