Despite not being in love with the temperatures this time of year, I absolutely love the fashion come December. There are so many great textures, colors, and silhouettes to choose from to commemorate the holidays, and I’m always down to incorporate something glamorous into my look.
For this month’s post with Liberty Center (you can see my other posts here), we were challenged to create content centered around the holidays. Not surprisingly, I’m always happy to oblige when it comes to holiday fashion, so I went to work scoping out a festive and stylish look perfect for any holiday occasion.
I always talk about how great the Dillard’s at Liberty Center is, and it was flowing with holiday party attire. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I brought around 15 pieces into the fitting room with me. I had a mixture of maxi dresses, cocktail dresses, and jumpsuits. Once I slipped this Gianni Bini emerald jumpsuit on, I knew this was the one that would be coming home with me. I love the cutout details and the V-neck design. It’s perfectly tailored, with a fitted top and wide legs. In past years I’d opt for something flashy or sparkly, but I loved the elegant simplicity of this jumpsuit and knew I wanted to jazz it up with accessories. Of course, I couldn’t totally pass up the sparkle. I also tried on a colorful sequin dress that I loved and ended up buying that as well. I’m thinking it’ll be perfect for New Years!
I finished my look with a pair of Kendra Scott statement earrings, a Kate Spade cocktail ring, and a round disco ball clutch.
One of the main reasons I opted for this solid-colored jumpsuit (in addition to just being in love with it) is that I think it’s good to add pieces to your closet that you can wear multiple ways. I’ve definitely been guilty of buying a piece that you can pretty much only wear once or for one specific occasion, so getting a classic tailored piece will allow me to style it however I like and create a new look each time I wear it.
Thank you to Liberty Center for partnering on this post.
