Scarves have never been a big accessory for me. Sure, I have a nice collection of them, but I really have to be in the mood to wear one. I’m not one for bulky things, and scarves can tend to be bulky. All my previous opinions of scarves were completely thrown out the window when I saw this blanket scarf at HighStreet a few weeks ago. My mom and I love shopping there, and one of us always ends up leaving with something.
My mom was actually the first one to eye this scarf, and we fawned over the selection for a good five minutes. Green is one of my favorite colors, yet I barely have any of it in my wardrobe. They had so many gorgeous colors, but I ultimately decided on this one because the color is so rich. I also felt like it would pair perfectly with my dark hair and green eyes!
It’s proven to be a good purchase because I’ve barely taken it off since I got it. Ironically, I actually love the bulkiness of it, especially with these fluctuating fall temperatures. What’s nice about blanket scarves is that you can style them so many different ways, and you can maximize its warmth as you please. I’ve worn this draped across my body, tied around my neck, and even treated it as an actual blanket when I was cold at the office one day. It’s magic!

Gorgeous scarf!! And I totally agree – once you find *that* scarf, you will fall in love and never want to take it off. I love how warm blanket scarves can be and how easy they are to style! I have two so far and am always tempted to add more 🙂
