As someone who has lived with severe nut allergies my entire life, it can be a struggle to enjoy sweets that most people don’t even think twice about consuming. I was pretty laid back about my allergy my entire life up until age 21 when I had a scare that changed my life.
Ever since that scare I have done a ton of self-educating to make sure I do everything in my power to avoid my allergens. That meant pretty much eliminating any sweets that I didn’t personally make myself due to the risk of cross contamination.
A few years ago my mom and I came across Vermont Nut Free c
The company started in 1998 when the founders’ son had an allergic reaction as an infant. They quickly realized how challenging it was to find chocolate that was safe for him to eat, so they began making sweets themselves. The rest is history!
I’m so grateful to have a brand make chocolates that satisfy my sweet tooth while giving me peace of mind. Vermont Nut Free generously gifted me with some items from the brand and I barely had enough patience to take some photos before scarfing them down!
The best part? They make goods for any occasion in life, whether it’s a holiday, birthday or just any day of the week when you have a hankering for something sweet.
